Haven’t written in a while because I started classes and I am on my way to become a Medical Assistant. The classes are kinda nuts! Only 5 weeks between MODs (Semester).

Any hoo… Been playing WOW a little if I have time, and it seems to be taking forever for me to get geared. Working on emblem farming so it could happen, but gets tedious.

Also can’t wait until the new Futurama episodes! Check it.

Just got back from my thrid year at Otakon in Baltimore. Yes, I had a great time, spent lots of money, and I got to hear about some new Anime that I may soon add to the collection.

First off, I will post pics of some of the loot I gathered in the Dealer’s Room.

So… That is some of the items I bought. I had a great time as usual and ’twas neat to have Mr. Yutaka Yamamoto sit in front of me during the Bandai Industry Panel. He smelled nice.

So, I am tired. Got hit in the head a lot with fake swords and giant Nekko tails, so I am going to take a rest for the rest of my Sunday. I will post more tomorrow about some new Music and Anime.

So here I am in the early morning hour listening to some new music from Japan… right now it’s Dr. Usui (Electronic-pop). Really great stuff! And the only video I could find is not good quality but still cool. Here:

Also! I just found out that the new Bespa Kumamero album will be released on Japan Files on May 22nd!! Whoo hoo! I am happy… though sorry I will miss them when they play live in Boston…in which they will be selling their album (and perhaps autographs?!). I listened to 2 songs they put up on myspace.com and I love them! So excited! *!!clap-clap!!*

I have also been researching beer from Japan… just out of curiosity. My boyfriend and I tried Kirin Ichiban recently and really liked it. (It is actually brewed in here in the states but the Japanese brewery sold it to us? I am not sure, but I do know it does not come directly from Japan… What I do want to get my fix on is Hitachino Beer… bottle is nice and I read good things about them… though they do not ship to USA. Oh well… one day perhaps.

So I have a raging headache today. Woke up with one and so I rest… a little maybe.

Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I went out and bought WOTLK and head sets so we can communicate within our fantasy world. We did a test drive last night, and I can say it’s pretty awesome… This will make my dungeon and raid experience a bit easier and a lot more fun with out all of that “dark age” typing… though a lot of people don’t have voice chat enabled… but still, a good time. So now, installing Lich King and it has to redo all of the patches and even the fabulous 3.1 patch everyone’s bitching about… (My mage still has a hole in her head and my poor elek has so head! Oh my!)

So 4 more levels until I can get a Death Knight, but do I really want one? I am unsure… I would like to just level my mage to 80 and then move on the the dk… I already have too many toon children to look after. So I just to concentrate on the two: My mage Matsu and my hunter Kobito.

Ah, all the downloading and patching should be done by the time I get home from work tonight so then I can play to my hearts content… I would like to redo my addons as well… Need an auctioneer… or auction lite… not sure which… I hear auctioneer kills cpu and auction lite is so much better. I will figure it out, if you are worried.

I just started a Druid too… Never made one before and just need a back-up for change of scenery… For some reason I like the alliance territories so much more… Don’t get me wrong, Horde rocks, but I know the alliance quests areas almost like the back of my hand… so maybe a horde character will give me a fresh brain and a new understanding to the game…?

Ah… the life. Well, not really, but…. I did see Dragonball last week and oh god… it was horribly good! I loved the cheap cgi effects and the missing plot lines… oh, so bad it tweaked my brain and cut my soul in half. But, I enjoyed it just the same.

Also, I made the Leeeeeeeeroy Jeeeeeeeeekins! achievement on WOW (I am now Matsu Jenkins), and I am now level a 51 mage. Basically stood there in a raid group and we all got the achievement, so thanks to my fellow guildies!

Can I be more of a loser? Yes I can! For my next achievement I hope to get to level 60 and begin doing raids. So take that, reality! In your face!

So I am excited to see my boyfriend tomorrow. We haven’t seen each other in a week. I have been sick with a nagging cold, but starting to feel better.

Well, off to bed I go. Good night!

Quiet Sometimes

So, this week is gone and felt like it kind of dragged on forever. Now it is Sunday and I am at work, reading my books and trying to stay busy so my night goes by quickly until 8pm. Being the Sunday Receptionist is dull… Quiet… in a way lonely. I sit at a desk and answer very few phone calls and greet the elderly as they visit their loved ones.

My mood lately has been shifty and uncontrollable… I tried to quit smoking and that did not work out as well as I would of liked it. For some reason I am displeased… I think it may be depression since I cry a lot lately for no reason and just feel all together unwell. I haven’t been sleeping well and when I do sleep I have nightmares and wake up with a typhoon of a headache.

Lately I have been feeling quite worthless in this place. I want to feel like I am helping or I do have some use… for some reason I base that on my sense of worth.. if I am being helpful. Sad, really… I like helping people and being there…

But other than that, I am still looking for work in various places online and plan tomorrow to knock on some doors and beg.

Maybe tomorrow I will treat my self to some new clothes and new sneakers… I really need new clothing, I think… maybe this will boost my mood some.

So then after work, I plan on eating dinner and work on a birthday present I am putting together for my boyfriend. I think he will like the gifts I bought him at least I hope so… Money is tight, so I feel bad I could not buy a lot this year.

Well, now back to my deep thoughts and reading my novel… good day.

Great end to the week, hopefully a better beginning

I had a writer’s block for a while with nothing to say here, but I can say I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday, my boyfriend, Mike and I went to Barnes and Nobles and to see “I Love You Man”. The movie was pretty funny I do say and I bought a couple of books I have been wanting. I bought Alive book 3, Higurashi (when they cry) book 2, and book 3 of The Twelve Kingdoms. I was super happy to find The Twelve Kingdoms because it was the last copy in the store! Yay me! I got to read a few chapters while at work Sunday. It starts slow but it is based on a Kirin named Rukuta, which should be getting juicy very soon. I highly recommend The Twelve Kingdoms, even though the books are placed in the “teen” section… but I get really into them.

And there is no word on the job front so far… which makes me angry, but I won’t lose hope. I am applying for a receptionist job for the state, so hopefully something will happen soon.

Well, that is all I have in my head for now. Maybe some creative juices will flow later this evening.
